I’ve always wanted to try out proper 1960s eyes but never been quite brave enough, so I was delighted to get a 60s makeover courtesy of make-up school AOFM Pro a few weeks ago. The key element of this look is the dark line marking out your eye crease, or just above it. This type of outlined eye was often seen on 60s models such as Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton, Edie Sedgwick, and Penelope Tree, and is a really iconic make-up style of the era.
I’ve hunted down some 60s eye make-up video tutorials, so you can have a go at recreating this look yourself.
