How to Follow Blogs Easily

<a href=”http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/3121619/penny-dreadful-vintage?claim=jgquvfa2j9q”>Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>

Now that Google has removed their follow option for non-blogger sites, some of you may be looking for other ways to follow Penny Dreadful Vintage or other blogs. I personally use Google Reader for the numerous blogs I read – to add a new blog all you need to do is click on subscribe and then paste in the web address, easy peasy. You can also create folders to split into categories which is hugely useful if you read as many blogs as I do. I have folders for vintage and fashion blogs, home design, friends, street style, and fun (ie, funny cat websites). If there are any posts you want to save for future reference, all you need to do is add a star and it will be saved in a ‘starred items’ section.

Another option is to use Bloglovin’. It doesn’t have as many options for customisation as Reader, but it is a bit prettier and very simple if you aren’t interested in setting up folders and the like.

You can follow Penny Dreadful Vintage on Bloglovin’ here

Or paste the Penny Dreadful Vintage blog address into Google Reader

I love, love, love Bloglovin – I used to use Google Reader but find the layout in Bloglovin a bit nicer.

I think I’m more sad about the demise of Picnik – although I’ve since downloaded Picasa which seems to be almost as good (almost, not quite!)

I recommend Bloglovin because Reader doesn’t give blogger credit for pageviews, which makes it more difficult for prof. bloggers to make their living.
