This weekend, Bourne & Hollingsworth are presenting Retrospective, a retro catwalk show tied in with London Fashion Week, which will reflect how vintage styles have influenced the predicted design trends of 2013. The show will include past fashions from the 20s to the 80s (though I am told there is a heavy emphasis on the 70s, in keeping with the current trend for styles from that era), and includes designers such as Mary Quant, Ossie Clark, Givenchy, Chanel and Dior. The event will be held in the beautiful art deco Bloomsbury Ballroom, and should be a real visual treat. With a start time of 5pm it also offers plenty of time to go out afterwards – don’t forget the Ric Rac club is throwing a Valentines party later that evening!
Tickets for the show are £20, but I have been offered a pair to give away on the blog. If you would like to be in with a chance to win, just leave a comment below and I will draw a number at 6pm tomorrow. Good luck!
