If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter you will have seen that we have a guest staying with us at the moment. Can you see her in the above picture? That is the sight that greeted me when I went to get something out of the stockroom earlier today. Goodness knows how she got up there, but from now on that door will be staying closed!
Pretty little Leonie is staying with us for a month or so while The Mayhew Animal Home get their cattery roof replaced. She was a little shy to start with, but now she is full of beans and wanting to explore everything. Elsa is still unimpressed with the intruder. She has been sitting at the end of the hallway like The Godfather, giving everyone who comes into her sight the evil eye.
Many shelters have fostering programs for animals who are scared, convalescing, or need time to get used to humans. You will need to be patient, quiet, and spend plenty of time at home. If you want to find out about it get in touch with your local shelter; for those in North London you can find out about fostering cats, dogs or rabbits for the Mayhew on their website.

Oh bless lol
That’s quite some disapproving frown on Elsa’s puss.
Hopefully they’ll be galpals soon and bond over a pair of your Vintage finest shoes xx
I can’t even handle this. TOO CUTE.
Haa haa haaaaaaaa!!!! Cheeky mew-key! Oh but she sure is cute.
Hahahaha! look at those eyes! She’s got great taste, little love. I bet Elsa’s most disgruntled. I bet you’ll never want to give her back. x
I swear cats can get into anything if given half a chance! What a cutie she is, and how nice of you to give her a home for awhile. And how nice of Elsa too, unimpressed as she may be!
What a rascal! I can see why she would want to sit in there though, such lovely clothes.
She’s beautiful! I’ve updated my link to your site.
She is clearly a cat of good taste!! xx
Oh, Margaret! She is adorable! My little Peggy can also get into that very position and I frequently find her there, looking pleased as punch with herself and wanting some congratulations. Poor Elsa– she sees the writing on the wall: a vintage-loving cutie pie is “visiting”….How long before Elsa is one of two? ;)
