Showing off my new hair colour while waiting for breakfast at our local cafe yesterday. I wasn’t so sure for the first few days, but now I think I like it. Thoughts?
>You really suit the new colour; I quite want a similar shade myself.
>Beautiful! And I love the curly straws :-)
>I love it! You're such a looker and that colour really suits your skintoone and makes your eyes look massive. Were you waiting for a Full English? xxx
>Looks good! You're lucky you have the type of skin colouring that suits going red – I've always thought red heads had the most striking crowns of glory by far.
>VVixen above is right – it really does something amazing for your eyes. (I wish I looked half as lively at breakfast!).
>It really suits you, looks fab! Welcome to the red head club ;o)
>Love it! X
>Bon! Bon! Bon! Thumbs up from me :)
>Ohh I love it, it really suits your colouring. Your local cafe looks a lot of fun, my local cafe recently got closed down and turned in to a 'trendy wine bar' *sighs*
>I love, love, love it. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
>I love the red hair! I love your yellow and black blouse too :)
>It looks good. Did it take long to go from black to red? I've thought of it myself but have been a bit put off by the thought of all the trips to the hairdressers! xx
>Ah it's lovely! REALLY suits your peachy complexion xo
>love the hair colour x
>can I *whistle*? :-)
>I love it! I think it really suits you.
>It looks amazing,really suits you!x
>Ooh it's lovely! Well done on making the leap.
>Love it – you look gorgeous, but then you always do! Been reading your blog for a few weeks and love that too.
>I love the red, but I still prefer your pitch black hair! it just feels so snowwhite to me, with the red lips and all.
>I like it. I'm always jealous of people that can pull of red because I most certainly cannot.
>Oh my god, you look great! Red really suits you. I´ve always wanted a simmilar hair color, but I don´t know if would I look such good :D xoxo from Hannie
>I love the red hair on you. I did it sometime last year, and my only complaint is that I'm too cheap and lazy to maintain it, and red is high maintenance.
>I adore red hair!On me it's a disaster I tryed it a few years ago,but you look very beautiful!
>Lovely! I really wish I could pull off proper red hair, I'm envying you right now… (and what a yummy checked top too)
>Ooh yes I like it! It really suits you x
>Lovely! I like it red and I liked it brunette too xx
>You're so pretty that you can do whatever you want. You look great!
>I love the way it looks!! Red hair is such an accessory! Especially a red pixie cut like you have! I always wish I could dye my hair either red or platinum blonde- plat blonde is another cool color… But it must be fun to have a change! *Claudia*
>Good choice! How does it feel? I've had my naturally red hair enhanced, and I feel more special again. All about the ego, innit. :)
>THANK YOU all so much, it is really nice of you all to leave such lovely comments. Sorry I have been bad at leaving replies this week, but I really do appreciate the comments, especially since I was a little bit scared by such a dramatic change.
I also have to say the lighting in that cafe was really flattering – I was shocked with surprise by how nicely the photos came out, I can promise I don't normally look that nice in the morning!
Sarah – it didn't take too long at all. I thought they would need to bleach my hair then add colour back in, but apparently they don't need to do that anymore. She just put the goop on, left it for 45 minutes, and it was done.
Vix – nope, no-one else does an English breakfast as good as mine so I've stopped having it in cafes. Their croque monsieur was very good though ;)
