I was browsing on ebay this morning and came across these two raggedy old teddy bears looking for new homes. They looked so sad I wanted to rescue them immediately, but although Mr D is pretty tolerant of all the random things I lug home I think these two might be a step too far. Will someone else save them? Those single sad eyes are haunting me! They are both advertised as needing love. *sob*

>OMG! :(
really sad
>Oh dear, the poor little dears! You can tell they were well loved =) their one eye is a bit haunting though
Hannah xx
>Oh that brings a twinge to my heartstrings, but alas they would be 'loved' a bit too much by my dogs!
>I love the fact that you are so touched by their plight that you blogged about it :)
I have a teddy very similar to the one on the left. But he is loved and is called "ted" (how original!)I hope they find a suitable home and don't end up down the tip.
>oh, poor things!! they need adopting quick! But… to be honest, who would ever think of trying to sell them on ebay? :s.

>Oh god love them. Poor teds. Are you sure Mr D wouldn't notice if you sneaked them in?
>Aw, bless them. How could anyone be so heartless as to get rid of the poor little mites? xxx
PS You are a naughty girl, I had a gorgeous little surprise through the post today, I love it but you really shouldn't have.
>broken dolls freak me out, hahaha :D I wouldn't get these if they'd pay me for it! I think I can only "love" ugly dolls if I was the one who made them ugly with years of unconditional love. I still have an esmeralda barbiedoll.
>Hi my dear-the bottom one is just like my bear from when I was a baby, I still have her too! I hope they find a new home soon! xx
>These are so adorable – I can't believe someone would try to sell them.

>Oh bless them. I can't believe someone has listed them with a guilt trip though!
>I'm totally heartless obviously! I think they look like they've been tied to the front of a bin lorry ;o)
>LOL, I agree with Straight Talking Mama!
>Fiona you beast!
>Bless them with their two eyes between them! I would never have got rid of them if they were mine. I hope someone buys them, I can't bring myself to. I'm already in trouble for getting carried away on Ebay on Sunday! xx
>I've actually totally been on the hunt for some old creepy teddy bears for a short film I'd like to make. I'm still sad about a bear I passed up at the local flea market. It was made of real animal fur and was missing an eye. Still mad I didn't snatch it up immediately
>oh my goodness, they are too cute.
they aren't that creepy! a little tattered, but precious. they remind me of an old teddy that my father had when he was young and handed down to me.
>Poor bearys.. That was someones childhood toys.. My sis still has her bear from whenshe was a little girl.. She has revamped it.. New nose and stuff cotton.. My niece now plays with her old bear.
>aww, that's so sad! Poor little bears :'(

>This reminds me of when I saw Toy Story 3. I was so overwhelmed with guilt for banishing my toys to the depths of a dark box in my closet that I had to take them all out, remind myself of all of their names, and give them a good hug and kiss before I could get on with my life. What pitiful little bears those two are, but goodness me… they need some serious TLC.
>A girl after my own heart – I get all wibbly thinking about poor, sad lonely teddies. =[
-Andi x
>Ooh… So sad! How could you do that to your bears?? (Just saw that you've got me in your links – thanks!). x
>So so sweet! I still have my teddy bear from when I was a kid and he looks worse for wear but I still totally adore him :)
>Awww! Somebody loved those bears…
Love,
Heather
