Classic cut blazer from iconic designer Diane Von Furstenberg. This vintage DVF blazer jacket is cut in a tailored style with darts up the front for a fitted shape, a shallow rounded lapel, assymetric front pockets (which are still sewn up), long sleeves, lightly padded shoulders and a single breasted single button closure. The blazer is fully lined. The fabric is woven in a type of linen/hessian style with a gorgeous tweed-style mottled effect in the yarns. The yarn fibre is a mix of polyester, cotton and wool. The jacket is light enough to be ideal for spring and summer wear. I would date it to the early to mid 80s.
