Vintage 40s day dress of a fine drill wool, in a rich teal blue colour. The dress has long sleeves with turned up cuffs and a zip at the wrist for fit, a fitted bodice, flared skirt, and covered buttons. It has a matching self belt and small lapels, with original shoulder pads. The skirt of the dress has a detail of vertical welted seams, with a ridged border at the hem.The dress fastens with a metal zip at the side, along with buttons at the front. No labels. Lined only at the neck.

General size is small to medium.  Condition is very good, only apparent flaw is a tear in the neck lining. This comes washed and ready to wear.
