60s vintage hippy smock dress in a black and white folk floral ditsy print with pale coral orange and teal blue flowers. The dress has a frilled round collar and a v neck with one button (appears to be missing a second). The bodice has a frill across the bust and also over the shoulders. The sleeves are elbow length, and balloon style that is gathered with elastic at the cuff. It looks as though the front of the dress had a few more buttons at the bust previously, but this has been sewn up – not an issue, as I didn’t even notice it until listing! The empire line bodice flares out into a very full tent style skirt which has several tiers. The label has faded. Fabric is cotton. This dress comes washed and ready to wear.

Condition: very good. A small pull on the button at the neckline and one button missing, but these are minor.

General size: medium to large, due to the smock style could even be worn by a size small.
