Description
Vintage early 70s strapless cocktail dress in an amazing silver tiger-stripe pattern. The dress has a very fitted shape, with a boned strapless bodice, sweetheart neckline, and a bow at the waist. There is also a little gathering and a faux-wrap front under the bow, creating a sarong style shape. The whole style of the dress is so reminiscent of the glamorous 50s that if it weren’t for the fibre and zip I would have placed it firmly in that era. It come to below knee and has a pencil style skirt with split at the back. The dress fastens with a long back zip. The fabric comprises silver lurex strips over a sheer black viscose, with a black polyester lining underneath. No makers label.
General size is small to medium. Condition is very good, a few loose threads but nothing serious.
