Vintage 60s  pleated chiffon cocktail dress by 50s and 60s designer Alice Edwards. The bodice has a gathered detail over the bust and a plain panel at the waist, with fairly thin shoulder straps. The skirt is a fluid pleated chiffon over an underlay of silky acetate. The dress fastens as the back with the original metal zip. Label states Alice Edwards, bust 36 hips 38, for the 5’3″ and under.

General size is medium.  Condition is very good; some of the pleats have fallen out and need to be ironed back in, at the back of the dress the chiffon seam has come apart some way and needs sewing up, it has also torn next to the zip and needs to be sewn back together. Not major jobs, and other than this the dress is in wonderful condition.
