Vintage evening dress by designer John Bates for Jean Varon dating from the mid to late 70s. The colour and style would also make it perfect for a chic wedding dress. The dress is in a simple draped style, with a faux-cape bodice creating a tiered effect along with the sheer butterfly flutter sleeves. The outer fabric is a pale dove grey sheer polyester chiffon, the lining is a pale pink acetate. Label states Jean Varon, made in England.
