This elegant burgundy hat is by Kangol and dates from the early 1980s, but was clearly inspired by 40s style. It is in a classic shape, and should be worn slightly tilted to one side. The crown is shallow and rounded while the brim is flat and wider at the front than back. The hat is trimmed with a black hat band with bow at the back, and black netting which comes down over the eyes. It is secured to the head with an inner elastic string.  Fibre is a cotton velvet.
