This unique straw sun hat dates from the 1950s and is a total show-stopper. It has two birds sitting on top, one made of painted papier mache and one covered with feathers. It also has a little spring of curled green ribbon resembling a palm tree on top, as well as green and pink grosgrain ribbon bows. No makers label.
Condition: very good, a few nicks in the straw at the top and the larger bird is very fragile and may need reinforcing at some stage, but nothing serious.
- Inner circumference 22″
