Description
This striking sun hat is by Marshall & Snelgrove and is made in a white raffia straw with trimmings. I believe it dates from the 50s but this romantic style was also popular in the late 40s so it could be earlier. It is in a bonnet shape and features a wide front brim, turned up back brim, netting and artificial sunflowers at the front, and silky rayon side ties to go under your chin. Label reads Marshall & Snelgrove, London.
Condition: very good. There are some small holes in one of the fabric ties, but no other apparent issues.
