Vintage 50s housecoat in a sturdy cotton printed with painterly style blue roses. It has long sleeves with turned up cuffs, a small collar, and buttons down the front. There are two large patch pockets on either side, and it comes to full length.

Condition: very good. There is faint yellowed staining around the collar and across the top of the back, also some rust marks on the collar. As the collar is folded this actually is not too apparent (I haven’t tried soaking so it may come out further with any luck). One of the buttons is missing – my own advice would be simply to move the last button up and forget the lowest buttonhole since it isn’t actually needed. There is also a mark on the front near the buttons (pictured). Despite this the house coat is in good structural condition with no fading.
