1950s lipstick red full dirndl skirt

Description

Classic full skirt dating from the 50s, in a bright red heavy cotton. The skirt has a wide waistband, gathering at the waist, and fastens at the side with a metal zip and button. There are no labels but the metal button is embossed with a crest and ‘Salzburg’, so this is a genuine Austrian dirndl skirt.

Condition: very good. The red has faded a little but no other issues.

General size: small to medium. There is scope to move the button a little to either side if you wanted to make the waist a bit smaller or bigger.
