Description
Classic one piece vintage swimming costume dating from the late 1950s. I bought this from a lady who had worn it as part of her sports kit at school, so even though it is very plain I love to think of the girl in the 50s who wore this while larking about with her school chums. The swimsuit is in a thick nylon in classic black, with a sporty style and racer back. There is a little badge with an Olympic torch on the hip, but any label has long since gone.
Condition: good. It is faded and some slight pilling, but no structural issues.
