Penny Dreadful Vintage Open Day: Saturday, 28 April 2012, 1pm to 6pm
Roll up roll up! I currently have so much vintage in stock it is almost bursting up the chimney, so I am holding a special spring preview and sale at PDV headquarters in Hampstead, London.
Pieces bought direct from the studio are always discounted from the online price, so if you have had your eye on a certain item now is the time to come along and try it on. Remember also that what goes into the online shop is only a fraction of what I have in stock, so in-person appointments are a great way to snap up extra-special pieces before they go public.
In time for summer I have lots of 50s printed cotton frocks, fab little 60s swimsuits, floaty 70s maxis, 30s parasols and even some crisp Victorian cotton and lace nightgowns.
Everyone is welcome, and as we are only one minute from Hampstead Heath you can even make a day of it with a picnic. Closest tube station is Belsize Park, closest overland station in Hampstead Heath.
Further details are available on the Facebook event page, or if you don’t use Facebook please email me for address details.

OOh this is exciting – I must try to come this time! And sorry, now you’re not on Blogger I keep missing your posts. Must make more of an effort!
AAAh, I wish I could come! I’ve had my eye on this dress for ages: http://www.pennydreadfulvintage.com/product/day-dresses/1950s-rose-print-cotton-floral-day-dress/ I wonder if it will survive your sale?
Looking forward to this… had a hell of a couple of weeks grr! In serious need of retail therapy!!
(…vintage boutique owner artfully nudges some 60s/70s sparkly stuff to the front of the rail and waits for the vintage fishy to bite…LOL) ;)
Ha, we are two of a kind – we both love the bling!
