Last week I reviewed the book Tea and Cake by Emma Block, and this week you are invited to the party!
This Friday will be the official launch for Tea and Cake, and is totally open to the public. The event is being held at Watermark Books in Kings Cross Station (see the teapot on the map), and will be going from 3pm to 10pm – what a perfect start to the Jubilee weekend!
Free cuppas are being provided by Tea Pigs, one of my very favourite tea brands, while cakes are coming from Yummy in Your Tummy Cakes and The Golden Afternoon Tea Company. Any cake donations will be going straight to the fabulous Get London Reading scheme.
Word on the street is that if you get in early there will be goodie bags containing Kiehl’s and Dr Hauschka products, so this is definitely one to get along to.
Emma will be on hand to celebrate and talk about her book, and I’ll be there at some point knocking back a few cups of fancy tea. Hope to see some of you there!

Oh, this sounds perfect. I’d consider swinging by but I’ll actually be starting my new job and then heading back to my hometown for the weekend so, alas, no chance of a cuppa and cake for me! Have a lovely time though xxx
This sounds like a great event) Such a pity I live so far away…
Sooo many reason to be there! I’ll do my best not to miss it! Thanks for the tip!
Very cool!! Love the artwork!
Oh, this sounds like a gorgeous event! Sadly saw this too late. Am following your blog now though so won’t miss any more of your lovely posts :)
