This week I’ve been concentrating on getting vintage swimsuits into the shop, in the hope that one day summer might once again visit Britain. Most of these are from the 60s, which is a great period for vintage swimwear – the nylon used in that decade was much thicker than later periods so it smooths out all your lumps and bumps. It also means the colours stay bright and strong, unlike the cotton swimwear from earlier periods which have usually faded and lost shape. Pictured here are the swimsuits going into the PDV store today – half of these are already listed and the other half I will be listing tonight – so if the one you have your eye on isn’t on the website yet just wait an hour or so and pop back to check!

Aw, these are cute. I love the nautical style one. And the red with the pleated skirt style bottom! Fingers crossed the weather picks up…
I love the black white bathing suit and the little skirt tennis one.
This is so cool, I love the cut of these suits, so flattering.
Aww how adorable are these vintage swimsuits? I’m definitely considering to buy one for this summer <3
