This is the outfit I wore for a day of reviewing vintage stores in Paris last week. I tried to be sensible and wore flat shoes, but even so my feet were aching by the end of the day with so much walking. In fact, they were still aching three days later – we crammed in about 20 stores into one day so were really pounding the pavements!
This last weekend I was in Bath for a hen party, and in between playing guessing games and drinking glasses of champagne punch, I managed to sneakily run off and review the local vintage stores. So there are plenty of vintage travel guides coming up soon, but after three weekends in a row away from home (and well over a thousand photos to edit), the task is feeling rather daunting right now! A day of rest is much needed before getting stuck in.
Outfit details: 1950s rose print tricel dress, 1960s tartan bag, 1950s silk scarf, 1970s pink crepe jacket, vintage cameo brooch, Polaroid sunglasses from their Heritage collection, and gold ballet flats from Office.
