My Vintage Assistant

I was going to write some kind of review today, but it wasn’t long before I thought ‘stuff it, Friday afternoons should be reserved for animal pictures and other such fluff’. So I shall bore you all with photos of Elsa instead.

Elsa has been part of our family for seven months now, and in addition to her official household roles as Fur Shedder and Chief Snorer, she has also taken on unofficial duties as my Vintage Assistant.

Let me show the ways in which she makes herself useful in the day to day running of Penny Dreadful Vintage.

Unpacking deliveries:

Quality control:

Folding things away:

Directing photo shoots:

Appearing in photo shoots:

Measuring:

As you can see, measuring is one of her favourite tasks. The garment barely hits the floor before she leaps in to ‘help’.

Typing (I do not ask for her aid in this, but she insists most strongly):

Enforcing statutory break-times:

Then after all this she usually needs to take a nap for fifteen hours or so. Well I don’t want to wear the poor thing out.

  1. Elsa is just adorable, I have to call Jon in to admire her each time she features on your blog. Have a fab weekend and give her a squeeze from me. xxx

  2. Yes, cats seem to think their help is essential. If nothing else, atleast they want to run around your feet while you’re doing something. Our cat Taku is also very vocal, she gives me verbal instructions on how to handle things :D
    Elsa is adorable!
