This week in Penny Dreadful Vintage there are ever more vintage blues. My favourite is the gorgeous 1950s skirt and jacket set pictured above, by Berketex Continentals – a label made specifically for the overseas market and sold in Paris, Spain and Italy. You can just imagine this being worn along the Riviera can’t you!
I also love the Ben Sherman Beatles shirt – not very old yet, but set to become a future vintage classic which is why it is in store. Sometimes I see modern second-hand pieces that I simply can’t resist, and which are sure to become more and more collectable as time goes on. If you think again you can snap up pieces which will only gain in value and desirability in the future.
