If you aren’t already organised with your Christmas tunes, below is a Spotify playlist I made of some cracking vintage Christmas music from the 40s, 50s and 60s (it is free and easy to join Spotify online if aren’t already subscribed).
I also wanted to share with you my favourite Christmas song, by comedian Tim Minchin. It cuts right to the heart of what Christmas is all about for me, and will make you WEEP. In fact I wasn’t even going to listen to it before I shared it here, knowing it would make me feel all wobbly, but couldn’t help myself. Consequently I am now sitting here with wet cheeks, but still glad I heard it.
I shan’t ramble on any further, as by now I am sure you are either already with family and friends, or looking forward to seeing them after work. Merry Christmas to you all!

Hope you had a lovely Christmas Margaret, and happy new year 2013 to you!
I adore Tim Minchin, heard him do this song live a couple of years ago around Christmas and it is definitely very wobble making – even more so if you have family in Oz I should imagine.
