Round two of desirable bathrooms! I think the pictures I like the very most are ones where the bathroom is outside, or at least has a great view. I do like the idea of bathing being something natural, rather than uptight hygiene. Unfortunately this idea fits in better in my home country of Australia, rather than my rather chillier adopted home of London.
One of the nicest baths I ever had was in the middle of the bush, on the South Coast of New South Wales in Australia. The property we were staying on had an outdoor wood heater, which the owner had cleverly rigged up to a piped water system. You could run yourself a hot bath in the middle of the bush, then lie back looking up at the trees and the sky and listening to bird song, with the breeze wafting over the tangy scent of eucalyptus. It really was magical.

| Or maybe this is my favourite. A stone tub, wouldn’t that be lovely! |
